Thank you for your interest in Emily's Music Corner! My name is Emily Asay (pronounced like the letters "A.C.") My main instrument is the violin and I have been playing piano since I was six years old. I strongly believe that life is so much more fulfilling with music! 

I have a bachelor's degree in music education and nine years of teaching experience; five of those years as an elementary school orchestra teacher and four teaching private lessons while being a stay-at-home mom. 

Most of my teaching experience is with kids ages 10-14 but I am happy to accept students ages 6 and up. It is never too late to enjoy the benefits of making music!
